Akagera National Park in Rwanda is rare and endangered habituated mountain gorillas' home, covers 160 square kilometers. It's a top spot for gorilla trekking and part of the Virunga Conservation Area shared by three countries (Rwanda, DRC, Uganda). Located in northeastern Rwanda, it's known for its volcanoes and lush forests, a 2.5-hour drive from Kigali.
